A Going Church for a Coming Lord!

Thank you for visiting our website. Lamb of God Lutheran Church is new church rooted in history, tradition and strong foundations in the community. We are envisioning what the future holds for us and you, too! Our rich history comes from two congregations, Redeemer Lutheran and Peace Lutheran. We certainly praise God for all He has done through the members of each church. Now, we begin an excitng new chapter in our growth as a faith family. Just like any family, Lamb of God wants to help you stay in touch and fully connected. We will use this website to provide you with information about our church and related activities. With your help, we will be able to keep the content fresh and relevant.  God bless you, Jesus loves you, and we pray the Holy Spirit's blessing upon you and your family. We ask for your ideas, support, and contributions to make this a thriving community. Welcome!

Our History

In brief, we are a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, Michigan District. Officially, Redeemer Lutheran Church opened it's doors in 1942. Then, 1964, Peace Lutheran Church was established as a mission church. Both congregations have proudly been a part of the south-Flint community. Then, in the current building which we have at 2051 West Maple Avenue, Lamb of God Lutheran was started.  We value our role as a church, serving and partnering with local organizations, non-profits, schools, businesses and the government. We love our God and we love you: our neighbors!
